We play around with music. Although music is important to me, I do not believe it is reserved for a select few. We don’t think we’re amazing or anything. We’re just sharing it in same spirit as people who share vacation pics or videos of their kids.  We are just having fun.

.: Unstoppable :.

This is the first one I uploaded a while back. My objective was to get the music and drums lined up and practice creating some effects manually in ProTools. So I put together some arpeggiated chords on one of my synths and played around with the filters. After a while I added some distortion and reverb. Not everyone likes this kind of thing but I’m still pleased with how it turned out. I was going for the kind of thing you’d hear during a car chase in a techno-thriller movie.

.: Rainbow Connection :.

I was practicing with MIDI one long weekend while Jessica was away. I recorded MIDI data of me playing the song ( this happened to be the song I was practicing) and used it to layer other instruments like strings and so on.

.: Nature Boy :.

Jessica has been taking singing lessons for a couple of years now. This is a recording we made of Jessica singing while her sister Shannon accompanies on the piano.

.: The Story :.

Jessica sang and I played everything else. Jessica recorded all the vocals in one night. I wish I could say the same thing for the music. Seemed to take me forever to record the guitars, drums, choir, and piano then stitch it all together in ProTools. We both learned a lot which was half of the reason for doing it.
